When disasters strike, and after they pass, under-served communities usually suffer the most.

Lower income communities are typically overlooked, under-prepared, and often located in areas that expose them to the most risks. Land in active flood areas and industrial zones is often used to store toxic and hazardous materials. During a disaster, your home may be the safest place so it's important that you are ready.

No one wants to be in the dark when a disaster strikes. Flashlights can also help you be found in an emergency and used as a communication device. Give consideration to whether you want your flashlight to be solar powered, battery powered or rechargeable.
